Let them go!
I wanted them, but they didn’t want me. I thought they were supposed to be there, but they weren’t! I believed it was him or her that was to walk out this journey with me. Well, I was wrong! There are times in our life that we want a thing, but the thing doesn’t want us. At least, that’s what we say when we are talking about the universe. Well, in reality, my belief is that God’s plan was not OUR plan. And who God wants in our path for certain seasons doesn’t necessarily line up with who we want. I recently went through this where I reached out to certain people as I was desperate for help! I was searching, but each time I was denied! And I mean, there was no denying that they either didn’t want to be or weren’t supposed to be a part of my life for that season. Phone call after phone call! Text after text! Instant message after instant message. Maybe one or two acknowledgements, but NO follow-through. It almost got to the point of begging! Well….that had to stop. I had to let it go! It was revealed to me (because of my belief, this was the Holy Spirit talking to me) that I needed to let them go. They weren’t supposed to be the one for this season. I needed to release my desire to want those particular people or things and LET THEM GO! Was it easy? For some things/people it was and for others it wasn’t. And I’m still processing, but I’m getting stronger the more I release! What? Is it possible to get stronger by, in the words of my friend, “let(ting) ’em go”? Sure! It’s amazing how a release in one thing can bring great joy and strength for what you REALLY need! Don’t hold on to the things that God says is NOT supposed to be in your life (you learn this the closer you get to Him). I challenge you TODAY to let them go and receive what you’re really need to walk out this thing called life! #KingdomAuthority #TeamLetItGo
